Winter in The Rustic Cabin....

I would like to take a moment to remind our guests that to come to the cabin in the winter you must drive a 4x4 vehicle, all wheel drive or/and a car with excellent winter tires. All weather tires will NOT get you back up our driveway to leave and we doubt you wish to stay till spring!!! Getting in down the hill is no problem.....it is getting out that has been a problem for some who think wrongly, "My car will make it up." Oh no it won't!!!

Now, there will be a spot at the top of the driveway, just off of the road on the left for you to pull into should you wisely decide not to drive down the driveway. You will still have to have good winter tires to get up the incline to the road. Should you have a newer car with anti-skid, you may need to disengage that feature to make it either up the driveway or out of the upper parking spot.

To rent in the winter you must also take full responsibility to leave the cabin clean and tidy as we expect you to find it.  That means you shake all of the rugs and sweep the floors. You must fill the wood boxes inside and on the porch. Put pink juice down the drain.

Winter in the cabin is awesome and we hope you come and have a memorable experience!!!! As I always say, "For the "right" people, the cabin is a fabulous destination." Should that be you, please email me at vassheekey@bell.net  .
